Through Chess Camps, Programming Classes, Math tutoring, Robotics and other courses, B.E.S.T. Tutoring provides a blueprint for Brilliance in Business, Engineering, Science and Technology, encouraging students to learn and solve problems.
St. Peters Chess Club
Our NEXT Beginner Chess class starts at 4:00pm on October 16, 2009. Come learn to play chess and improve your focus and thinking skills.
Learn to Play classes: Fridays 4:00pm – 4:45pm
Scholastic Workshops: Fridays 4:30pm – 5:30pm or Mondays 5pm – 6pm
Individual Tutoring: $10/hr
Open Chess Club: Fridays 5:30pm-7pm

The St. Peters Chess Club was started in 2004 and moved to BEST Tutoring in 2006. The St. Peters Chess Club has been an active United States Chess Federation affiliate (USCF id: A6022975) for over two years offering instruction and tournaments.

Tied first New York State Chess Championship – U1800 – 1982
First Wisconsin State Chess Championship – Reserve – 2000
First Missouri State Class Championship – Class B – 2008
First (tied with son William) Saint Louis Class Championship – Class B – 2009

With my background in engineering, robotics and programming, I want to build up the next generation so they can go further than we can even imagine; understanding Mathematics gives them power to tackle complex and even esoteric situations, scenarios and problems.
